
It is with great pleasure we announce sustainability expert Kay Luan Tay joins the Harmonious Entrepreneurship Society advisory team.
Kay Luan recently completed his 3-year tenure as Vice Chancellor of the International University Malaya-Wales. A graduate of the London School of Economics and Kingston University London Kay Luan spent much of career helping his immediate stakeholders to balance between their economic and social value, in continuing efforts to adapt with the rapid change at both the market and workplace.
To the Harmonious Entrepreneurship Society, he brings with him more than 30 years of leadership and innovation experience at the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers, ACCA, Hay Group and Accenture. His diverse and international workplace experience allows him to acquire necessary applied and people management skills to work with a broader range of industries. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees for Yayasan Astro Kasih.
Besides having served as the President for the Business Council for Sustainable Development, Kay Luan’s recent publications include ‘Sustainability is the Future’, ‘Applying Sustainability Principles and Practices’ and ‘Perspectives on Social and Business Sustainability’. He is a regular speaker on contemporary matters across social developments and education, talent development and corporate sustainability at public conferences and seminars across the Asia Pacific region. Kay Luan is a Certified Training Professional in training strategy and delivery. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Philosophy with the Universiti Sains Malaysia.
